Ambition, like every other business, is doing the best they can to do the right thing and still stay in business. Pretty sure no one would ever be forced to work there, let alone if they weren't feeling well, lol.

Oh Im definitely a massage attendant and quite accurate yes I am disgruntled when mine and public health is put it risk due to greed and refusal to let the employees stay home when they are sick instead of putting us all it risk. You are aware some of us have other jobs and lives outside of ambition right? Furthermore pointing out how many posts i have had in the past should indicate i dont simply come on here just to post bs. And not she was Not doing the best she can do when she had a report if covid positive ppl a week before she shut down and kept it from all the employees. I am also a member here and have every right to input my side

Is this not a public forum where people debate and share experiences? As long as the posts are factual, one should feel free to share without the fear of being ostracized. There should be no room on here for fabricated stories. Stick to the facts and have fun.

Well since Ambition is a sponsor and along with that the rights to delete, we will see how long this thread survives....

Even the OP saying "someone" went there is very fishy because could that someone not been a MPA? Do they really know for sure? Highly doubt it so writing that in is only suitable towards a narrative.

Story time: My ex is involved in another Country (so you're all safe) where there are non-citizens working with COVID because they don't want to loose wages, they are wait staff and the cook became sick too and kept working without even a mask. So sometimes it's not "just" the business owner forcing them to work either, and I'm not even sure the business can force people to get tested or not come to work because they "guessed" you have COVID. Don't know the rules here.

If everything you say is accurate, then you should be upset. But I'd like to hear Tania's side of this situation. In particular, I'm having a hard time believing she forced people to work when they were not feeling well.

In regard to vaccinations, personally, I'd like to see all employers mandate vaccination, although many are reluctant to do so.

What happened in whatever scenario you are describing is irrelevant in this situation. I dont need anyone to believe me. I stand by my statement that Ambition did the responsible thing in closing. But, if your allegations are true, it should have happened earlier and that is unacceptable.

In my opinion, given the nature of this business (i.e. strangers in very close contact, numerous times a day), all employees should be double vaxed.
I expressed this opinion to the owner back in September, after I had a conversation with one of the attendants who didn't believe that someone's vaccine status is anyone's business but her own.
I reported that to the owner, but she didn't feel she had the power to ask employees if they are vaccinated. So, I would not see that attendant again.
But she did have the power to require proof of vaccination for both employees and visitors. But that was not done and I appreciate the precarious nature of implementing that in this business.
So, given that, I would say that anyone attending this place or working at this place, being fully aware of both the risky nature of the work and the lack of vaccine proof, would be extremely naive to think they would not be exposed to coronavirus.
