Everyone has a right to their opinion, that's a fact. If you disagree, you can move to a communist country...or stick around because that's where ours is heading.
Not only do our rights give us the choice of getting vaccinated or not, but they also give us the right to medical privacy. You are never legally obligated to answer if you're vaccinated or not, nor are you obligated to share it. It's your personal medical information.
This "vaccine" is not actually a vaccine by definition. The full results of testing will not be clear until 2022/23. It was released for emergency use. A vaccine keeps you from getting the said virus. Vaccinated individuals are still contracting the virus. These are the facts, and they have been well documented.
If you feel you don't need the vaccine (for whatever reason) that is 100% your choice and it doesn't make you an anti-vaxxer. I'm certain the majority of us were vaccinated in school, as was I.
the bottom line is this: If you want it, get it. If you don't want it, don't get it. But nobody has the right to tell you one way or the other. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms allows us to choose for ourselves what is best for us as individuals. The more we fight and bicker with each other, the more we lose. The truth has been blurred and it's our responsibility to do our homework. Stop allowing the media to tell you what to think. Turn off the TV, get off of your social media and get some sunshine. (btw Vitamin D & C are excellent deterrents of any virus)
Your lives are in YOUR hands
Well yes you are required to say if you're vaccinated or not - not that I suppose you ever leave the trailer park but you are not getting into a foreign country without a vaccine once we have all had ample opportunity to get vaccinated - you will not be allowed to visit anyone in a hospital -you're doctor may suddenly be booked solid for the next 6 months- I am pretty sure you aren't gonna be seeing a lot of SP's without the shot- well maybe the bareback junkies won't give a shit- there will be a card and no one will accept being exposed to people who are unvaccinated - its really too bad that it wouldn't just kill antivaxxers

Maybe @
KennaWintersDDD could tell you?
I found that when I registered on the Region's site for vaccination, 3 weeks went by before I heard anything about an available appointment. My son in law told me that Costco was offering shots in Hamilton & someone he knew got in quickly, so I looked into it & the nearest one to me that was doing this was Guelph. I registered on Costco's website on a Thursday, got an email notification the NEXT DAY about an appointment for the following Monday, booked it & went.
What I'm drawing from this is that government involvement is slowing down registration, which shouldn't be surprising to anyone. Costco gave my 2nd shot date as Aug 11, but said that may change.
Also, it's well & good to quote the Charter of Rights & Freedoms, but one's right to not get vaccinated ends if you're causing danger to someone else's life. If you get covid because you refuse to get vaccinated (whether you have symptoms or not), your Charter right to go where you like is superseded by the rest of society's right to be safe from your Covid-Mary ass.

Good morning, my second shot was scheduled for Mid-July, but I received my second dose yesterday. Personally, I believe many factors determine if vaccine dates are moved up. I’m also in healthcare and reside in a hotspot area too. Also not sure which vaccine you received, but if it was AstraZeneca this maybe a factor to why your second shot hasn’t been moved up. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Be sure to keep an eye open for an email!

Hmm, this part i can agree with.
As for the remainder, like most libertarian types, you are conflating "authoritarian communism" with "government policy for the betterment of society".
We all love individualism and freedom, but sometimes society makes rules to protect everyone. And we all benefit from capitalism ... some more than others and that is why a "just society" balances capitalism with policies to help less fortunate.
So, we have speed limits on roads, provide universal (and, yes, imperfect) health care, disallow being able to take an AK47 to your parent-teacher meeting (ok, fine, that's allowed in 'merica), and we don't allow a student to proceed to Grade 10 without their vaccine booster shot (yup, that's a good rule made by scientific experts). Same goes for Covid vaccine. It was short-tracked to delivery because we needed it before millions more would die. Are there some possible side effects or negative outcomes. Yes, there is with everything. There is every time you get behind the wheel also. We all need to take the vaccine, not just because it protects ourselves, but because it is our only chance to protect all of society.
You reject the "right" to engage in some activities in society if you won't do what is the best chance to protect yourself and everyone else.
If you and Klan-Mom Marjorie Taylor Green don't get the vaccine, you should be forced to wear a big Covid Virus Star on your forehead before going into any restaurant with the rest of civil society.

I'm posting on unregistered as to not receive unwanted attention for not being vaccinated or planning to the the near future.
All I can say is that for myself, I've decided not to get it for the next while as I've already previous contacted COVID-19 earlier on in the year. I do know the antibodies last for a short while, but I also know someone who had very serious effects to the vaccine which made me question whether that individual was going to die. I drove them to the ER at least five times over the week for various tests and was continually told that it's a reaction to the vaccine. This is RARE for many, but it's still a possibility and as they're related to me and because even though I'm more vulnerable to COVID (I almost died from it.) I also tend to experience side effects from most medication given. That being said, I wear a mask, I social distance, and I don't actively go out during these times, not because of the stay at home order but because I'm limiting my potential exposure. I'm not against vaccinations, but while the vaccines are still new, I wouldn't be surprised if they became an annual or bi-annual thing similar to the flu. The number of mutations is continually increasing, and the only true way of limiting the variant spread is if the entire world went into shut down. This would limit spread with people not leaving their country, people limiting contact, and so that variants don't travel across borders. The issue is that it'll never happen though. To ask each and every country to do so is impossible, the people fighting anti masking, etc. are already aggravated so they won't be complicit, and even so we've all been more or less "inside" for far too long and want to resume life.

I'd prefer to avoid a vaccine, myself. But, saying you won't see an SP who's been vaccinated does seem a bit much. How do you prove that anyway?

That generally prompts a discussion of peoples personal choices, yet you say you're not interested in discussion or debate????? Perhaps your post should have just read ...... vaccines for me, No! Consequently, I don't see the point of your post????? You either want to engage in a reasonable discussion of your personal choice or not, especially when you are asking others about their personal choices.
Well put.

As of Monday June 7/21 if you are 70+ years of age, you can register for an early Phyzer or Moderna dose.
Also you can register if you had your first dose before April 18/21.
