Be aware of this one. A scammer?
http://kitchener.backpage.com/Female...-7199/23812591
Be aware of this one. I paid a 20 deposit because she said that she has had people book and then not show up. I was new to this so I went along with it.
Needless to say nobody home when I went to visit. Address was an apartment building and she would not answer any more texts. I am more bummed out by the waste of time than the 20 deposit I lost.

I hear you but am surprised that a lady 42 years old would bother stinging you for $20 and risk lost business .
I am in the middle of a paid forward session that has some risk but I knew that going in . There has to be some trust in the world - or maybe its just as the saying goes "there is no fool like an old fool"

Nothing new about this one, she’s been scamming for some time, and by the looks of her, the donation may not be used to put food on the table, so to speak.
As ‘thebopper’ noted, there’s no substitute for homework prior to seeing a new to you SP.
As a footnote: I really don’t understand the deposit or e-transfer or whatever the latest term is. This is a cash business, any other request for payment/deposit should be looked upon as suspicious in my book, particularly since C-36, where the client takes all the risks as far as the law is concerned.

in her old ads she had a vehicle pic posted with the license plate readable.
Could it be the vehicle of a Pissed off Client?
best to leave sleeping dogs lie.
And she advertised bb just about anything.
Possibly not even a female posting the ad , just a fellow scumbag thief usig the pics.

Actually, just to play devil's advocate - is a deposit all that unreasonable? I was making arrangements with a nice Pink today and she couldn't commit to a time because she has another booking, but she knows he might flake on her. So, I thought, if she could insist on a deposit, this other guy that is standing between me and a little slice of heaven would be forced to put up or shut up. Most likely I'd get to see my new best friend that much sooner and we get to spin the earth a little faster for an hour.
Regulars and really great guys like most of us here on SP would be excepted, of course, cause we're all reliable never-cancel types, but first-timers and wanna-be blues would need to pay up front deposit. Leave the ladies open for serious customers.
Just a dissenting opinion cause it's Hump Day.

Yes…………..however it’s your choice.
• Do you leave a monetary deposit prior to a haircut?
• Do you leave a monetary deposit prior to meal at a restaurant?
• Do you leave a monetary deposit prior to a car repair?
• Etc, etc.
All the above, and others, are service industries, essentially no different to an SP.
Just a dissenting opinion as it's hump day.
