Booking ID/ 50% Deposit??

"as a first-time client without a member booking ID, I require 50% donations deposit before providing my services. This is necessary to secure and confirm appointment. Please let me know if this arrangement works for you. Additionally, if you would like to proceed, I can send you my booking Therefore, I require a little bit of screening for all new clienteles that I meet and would like to know link for your convenience"

This screams red flag to me, I declined the 1st time and my gut tells me to decline this one too.

Anyone have any insights into this, is it legit?

You did the right thing. Check and see if the SP you're talking about has any reviews and see what they say. BTW a name or link would have helped too. But the 50% deposit and personal ID info = hard pass

Agree with LTO. Do your research? Look for reviews from trusted resources? Does she have a website where these rules are clearly outlined?
As far as ID goes, I would never provide a copy of my DL or even library card FFS.
She is asking for a booking ID, which I assume is something attached to her website? as you indicated member booking ID
I can understand why an SP wants to be careful and I can understand why an OP is hesitant. These rules likely improve the quality of clients for the SP.

Gee, I think they sound perfectly legit! Sorry, I must run and get to the bank and apply for a 3rd mortgage on my home...... need to some extra cash to pounce on these 2 before they turn out to be fake!
