The industry isn't dead, it has just morphed.

Lot's of guys using agencies as a more sure bet to not get scammed. Personally I have NOT had good results with agencies, far less personal than an indie girl, and 90% of the pics are airbrushed. The last one I saw had her period in the middle of daty and to say that put a bad taste in my mouth is an understatement. LL advertising is a total crap shoot and the sketchy Asian and Indian markets have exploded. There are other advertising ways (e.g. Tryst etc), but I'm not particularly savvy on using these other methods, so LL is still the starting point for me. SP411 is useful for doing searches of older reviews, except for the dark ages period when mentally disturbed Grace erased a lot of reviews. There are a bunch of older SPs that no longer have to pay Chase that use this site (haha, they know who they are) as one of their advertising methods, and who can blame them for that. It's free. But no new SPs can get in on that free advertising action, so that sucks for OPs. I still have been frequenting the KW/Camb section for info and to post some info on SPs that I've seen and liked. In part that was just to help the lady out. I usually don't bother reviewing the SPs I didn't like. But I do notice that I seem to be about the last OP reviewer in the KW/C area, so I'm likely done. I'll keep reviewing and contributing on the Red Board, which is way more active and generally more civilized, although lol, nowhere near as much fun as SP411 was. And remember all those picture threads that Kelly used to post. Damn excellent masterbation material. It was a lot easier than a drive to Etobicoke.

In the US for the last while, if you go onto LL or other escort sites, there are no pics of SP's and you have to give a lot of personal information to enter the site. There is also a great chance that the person you see is LE because they set up stings in the smallest towns and large cities. Even to look at Chaterbate or Porn Hub types of sites you need to provide your personal information.

VPN fixes some of these problems. Being in the US and using a proxy to make it appear that you are in Canada will make the images on LL visible again. As far as needing to enter personal information, there only place I've seen something like that is if your location is in Utah, and again, use a VPN to pick a different location and that gets around the problem. Should be using some internet tracking protection regardless of being in this hobby or not.

Can't speak on if the market is declining or not but there are way more bad providers, scammers and girls with pimps taking advantage of sites like LL than you had with CL and BP. I've met providers that have been vocal on how that has been bad for business.

Wait until you travel in the US. Toronto is still a mecca in comparison.

Idk i'm still hobbying pretty frequently. I think there is an information problem for sure though.

We have things like this as mechanisms for buyers to get reliable information. When you have people with power who's incentives are at odds with buyers getting that reliable information, then that distorts the ability of buyers to get superior information on what we're spending our money on.

I deadass think it poses not only a challenge to buyers who want good quality information so we can spend our money more effectively, it puts in danger the profits of a lot of sellers as well. What we're seeing is basically a version of what 2001 nobel prize winning economist George Akerlof called "The Lemons Problem"

We've seen this information quality problem play out in insurance markets, housing markets, in crypto markets, and it seems to be playing out here too.

If you run the analysis, both hardcore anti sex work feminists and more organized empire builder types will have incentives that will result in bigger players in the market getting stronger and things getting a lot harder for independents.

Everything is going and most are already there for the rich. the agencies are going to become regulated by the governments and the indy SPs are going to have to offer much more to stay in the hobby because safety and agreed services will be where the agency SPs are.

I think it's sad what the industry has come to. So much BS and nonsense involved in the industry. I kind of threw in the towel because even simple communication with providers is a hassle. You reach out to them, you don't hear back, they change their number a million times. When you do hear back, you can tell right away the session would suck because of their quick replies that don't even answer you question properly. It's crazy to think it would be this hard to give your hard earned cash someone willing to spend an hour with you. For me, the massage route would be ideal but even that has it's issues. You go on the site, you find an MA you're interested, then check her availability and she's never working. It's honestly more work then fun, and this is supposed to be way of decompressing and having fun. After a long hiatus, I came back to this board for a few reasons.
1) I was banned from the red board for a ridiculous reason
2)I hoping to find my ebony gem on this board via an honest review as there are still some trusted members on this board.

Those are still the preferred method of communication.

The LL OF girls are easy to spots, if they have no# as contact but first verify through her OF page, move on. the LL b&s girls are now easier to spot with their pictures and the low rates of extras offered. there's a lack of reviews on here from members, myself included, although I did post a very late review of an SP that had curios on lookers. also the virus changed a lot of things in this hobby both for us and the SP world. More online options to help lots of SP scammers, so why bother with actual services.
