Joe, the biggest concern with unvaccinated folks relates to variants. If we cut the head off this thing, it eliminates mutation. Unvaccinated people are Petri dishes for the vaccine to mutate. That's why we're getting variants. That's why it matters, even to vaccinated folks like ourselves.

As a double vaccinated individual, I always wondered what the concern is about people who are not vaccinated.

If you are double vaccinated, you are protected from the virus. If I come into contact with someone who is unvaccinated, I am protected.

If they are afraid their parents or grandparents will get the virus, they should also be fully vaccinated as well.

Unfortunately this trade is not legalized yet and progressive Canada will probably heed to supreme court’s mandate to give protection to SP’s.

When that’s done - YES - they all have to provide certificate of testing and vice versa.

For now mandating everyone to get vaccinated is far off than legalizing SP’s. However this might change if infections increase and lotsa people die in next few years like what’s happening across the border.

I really don't think insulting people and pointing fingers is the right way to go here. Not everyone thinks the same and has the same perspectives and therefore do not come to the same conclusions. I really think most people are concerned for their well-being and are unsure if a vaccine is going to be more beneficial than taking the risk of catching Covid. Personally after doing a lot of research and realizing that these new vaccines have actually been in development for decades and RNA vaccines have in fact been used before and proven to be safe in fact safer than many traditional vaccines. We also do not have a history of major side effects from vaccines and vaccines are one of the most important inventions in human history having saved millions of lives. This is my conclusion so I feel it is much more beneficial to take a vaccine then risk catching Covid and becoming very sick and I feel if you do not get a vaccine ultimately you will eventually catch Covid. Yes the chances of you becoming seriously ill from Covid are not that great but it seems to me they are greater then any serious side effects from the vaccine. I do realize this is a tough decision for many people and there is a lot of uncertainty but in the end whether you are a friend or family member or just a fellow human being trying to figure out how to get through these uncertain times I do not want anyone to become needlessly sick either from Covid or a vaccine.
