You're relatively 'new' to the site. I've been gone for a couple of years. I do not know all of what happened in the middle of it. I am not all that thrilled with what I have been seeing from a number of people, but they are adults (MAYBE).

I could lie and say 'maybe if I had been online'... Truthfully no one can change what others choose to do. Part of why the behaviour is so over the top at times is due to the original encouragement of those behaviours.

I am not comfortable with logging into my defunct account to see what power lay within that handle. It was a Pink Admin handle for a time, and I was told I am likely still a "Mod" (because the site has only a couple of mods... -sarcasm much here-). I'm basically now just watching to see where things will sit, and poking the admins to see if anyone has power they might not be aware of. I certainly had not been told what I could/could not do when I was given capabilities.

The douchiness/stalking/etc. was on the rise after I was exiting. I did actually have a few conversations about it as it started, but I did so directly with him. Do I condone it? No. I think he's an ass for it. I told him that I thought the shit he pulled on the site/in chat BEFORE I LEFT made him look like an ass. ASK HIM.

Do I like things like "all strong women" being included in a statement? No. I think that it invalidates the truths in the statements based on the exaggeration of the qualifier.

As for YOU getting shit on... Strat I wish I had been able to be there. I would have kicked their asses... Hell I wish you'd dropped me an email (you'd have had at least one for me if you'd checked your email and still used the same email address)... You are a rare gem.

p.s. We all have character defects. It is the nature of humanity. Goodness knows I have a laundry list of them...

p.p.s. I like that people who's opinions and friendships I value can express different opinions from the ones I do. I just hope they read the subtexts as well as the immediately discernible text.

I do not agree with what was done to you, but I also do not agree with what anyone involved in the start, and continuance of the wars did to one another.

I remember how it all started.
I remember how many different online fights were going on at the time.
I remember who was fighting with whom.

Quite frankly it all should never have happened, but that "all" includes a lot more than the fight dynamics between you two, and the escalation of those dynamics.
